The Mazda MX-5 Miata Concept will receive its first track-specific set of slicks and test drivers and crew that will run alongside it every year. It’ll be unveiled at the 2016 FIA World Rallycross Championship, next in the line-up for the 2018 season.

For a set price of $99, it’s very good and in line with other MX-5 Miata’s, it starts with a 4WD 4×4 at 0-60mph in 3.3 secs.

The Miata also has a front wheel assist, meaning that all-wheel-drive from a 1.5 inch wheelbase is now automatically enabled by default.
