As far as my knowledge on religion comes, I’m somewhat inclined to go the far, far deeper: as an introvert, I’d say you should stay on or close to the spiritual center. After all, you’re all here because of the gospel and you are the spiritual focus, not so much for your own gain.

So take a bit of your time and see what you can get your hands on. It’s best to read books on the topic as well, especially with regards to meditation; especially on whether it’s good for your brain and your spirit to be in harmony with other things or what you’re doing (think spiritual and religious books on meditation; I also learned a lot from this post, with great insight!).

But first of all, consider that “spiritual” is not always a good term to use. I’m not suggesting that everyone be spiritually enlightened, I’m not saying you’ll never be able to get to your own happiness: it’s just that you might not be able to, especially if you go too far, while keeping “spiritual” to yourself.

But, I don’t care if you already are or don’t yet are in spiritual meditations: if you’re trying to find your ‘happiness’, then, for now, be clear. That doesn’t mean, in the end, that your spiritual life won’t be happy, but instead, some sort of cosmic blessing. For now
